Genesis 2:7
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground…”
Racism is evil!
No matter what color you are, if you have hate in your heart for another person, you are wrong! No matter what color we are, the truth is that God made no mistake when He decided to create us in His image and in His likeness. It was His idea to make us in a variety of colors. He obviously likes the variety and distinctions.
Color does not equal character.
No matter what color you choose to look at, there are plenty of good examples, as well as bad examples, for how a person should live their life. The problem we face is not based on race or color, but is a direct result of sin and people who will choose to follow the directives of the devil instead of listening to the Lord Jesus Christ!
The Bible, (God’s word), says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” - John 3:16.
God loves every single person He created. There is not one person beyond the interest and love of God. The devil, on the other hand, is a liar and a murderer, a deceiver and a destroyer of lives. When I look at riots of hate, marches of hate, actions of hate, retaliations of hate, injuries caused by hate, murders caused by hate ... I know it came from the devil and not from the Lord Jesus Christ!
We are all sinners and cannot say we are perfect in any way. This does not give us reason to hate and despise one another because of what we see in or on each other. The sin within mankind separates us from a proper relationship with God, and makes us all the same in His eyes — guilty of our own sins.
While some express their sinfulness in ways that appall the rest of us, the fact remains, we are all sinners and in need of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. When God looks down from Heaven, He sees His creation living for themselves, abusing themselves, violating His Law, hating and hurting each other. He sees sin, not skin as the problem!
God created us all from the dust of the ground, and in reality, we are nothing but various shades of dirt. It is not the creative act of God nor the distinguishing marks of individuality that He gave us which causes Him grief, but the sinful hearts of mankind who choose their own ways instead of repentance and surrendering their lives to Him.
Jesus loves you, and He loves those who hate you. Jesus loves all the little children of the world ... they are precious in His sight!
You are precious in His sight!
Turn to Him today and be forgiven forever! Together we must stand and refuse to let hate creep into our community and destroy our families the way it is destroying so many today. If you have hate in your heart, give it to Jesus. He bled and died so you could be free from the bondage and slavery of hate. Trust Jesus to change your heart and life that you may live for His Glory instead of for the pleasure of the devil.
Let me know if you have trusted Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour.
