IRVING, Texas — Ten Oklahoma State student-athletes have been named to the 2020 Academic All-Big 12 Soccer Team, with eight of those earning first-team honors.
Highlighting the list are four Cowgirls who were nominated with a 4.0 grade point average — Rebekah George, Camy Huddleston, Peyton Vincze and Hannah Webb.
For Huddleston and Webb, 2020 marked the third time in their respective careers that they have earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team accolades.
Also earning spots on the Academic All-Big 12 First Team were Cowgirl juniors Ally Jackson and Grace Yochum, who each received the honor for the second consecutive year, and sophomores Olyvia Dowell and Megan Haines.
Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team from OSU were seniors Charmé Morgan and Kim Rodriguez, who both collected academic all-conference honors for the first time.
The 2020 Academic All-Big 12 Soccer Team includes 131 honorees, with 20 holding 4.0 GPAs. The first team is comprised of 119 selections, with 12 making up the second team.
First-team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA, while the second-team selections hold a 3.00-3.19 GPA.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
