In her IG post, Cardi gave a shout-out to self-proclaimed "metal and chain queen" Laurel DeWitt for creating the costume's intricate gold accessories and credited designer Baba Jagne for fashioning the snake body.
On Friday, Cardi shared a short clip on Instagram of Ciara and her 6-year-old son flaunting their hip-hop-themed Halloween costumes. In the video, Ciara is dressed as Cardi from her Invasion of Privacy album cover, while the singer's son is swagged-out as Offset.
"I’m gagging! I love it! I’m so hype!" Cardi captioned the post. "I’ve always been a huge fan of @ciara and became an even bigger fan after I met her! She is the most sweetest and the most nicest person in the world! A true peach! Staying sweet and humble was the prayer!"
