PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Regal Cinemas, the second largest theater chain in the U.S., is closing all of its theaters this week, at least temporarily.
The company is suspending operations at more than 500 theaters, including the one locally in Butler.
Last month, Regal reported a loss of more than $1.5 billion in the first half of 2020, with revenue tanking 67%.
It’s unclear if or when any of the theaters will reopen.
