For the Dragons, Joe Aach, Garrison Bentz, Chris Cail, Herbert De Cokere, Alex Dragovits, Dimitrije Ibrocic, John Karen, Damian Lis, Nikola Loncar, Hunter Reed, Kyle Rutherford, Roman Smigiel, Sam Valigorsky, Alister Virkler and Anthony Williams were noted by the IRA for their efforts in the classroom.
To be eligible for recognition, a student-athlete must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.35 or higher, completed one full year at their institution (freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible), be an institutional letter winner and also competed at the 2021 IRA National Championship Regatta.
Overall, 292 student-athletes from 28 member institutions were recognized.
