TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's and women's swimming and diving teams both earned Scholar All-America Team recognition from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the spring semester.
In a season cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Crimson Tide added the spring academic honors to those the men and women earned in the fall. In all, both teams averaged well over a 3.5 grade point average for the 2019-20 academic year.
"We're proud of the fact that our swimmers and divers kept their focus through the spring and continued to produce outstanding results in the classroom to go with a great season in the pool," UA head coach Coley Stickels said.
