Kat Dennings is backing up Billie Eilish after the singer called out body shamers online.
“Anyone reacting to @billieeilish having a normal body has to take a hard look at themselves,” tweeted the 34-year-old “Dollface” actress. “As someone who looked exactly like that at her age, it’d be nice for this unhealthy nonsense to f–k right off. She’s beautiful and normal goodbye!”
Eilish, 18, is known for wearing baggy clothes to avoid being body shamed, but the Grammy-winner was immediately subjected to just that after being snapped in a tank top and shorts last week. While she occasionally is seen in more form-fitting clothing, the “My Future” artist has been determined to keep her figure under wraps.
“I never want the world to know everything about me. I mean, that’s why I wear big baggy clothes. Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath, you know?” she explained in a video for Calvin Klein in May 2019. “Nobody can be like ‘oh she’s slim-thick, she’s not slim-thick, she got a flat ass, she got a fat ass.’ Nobody can say any of that because they don’t know.”
