Lana Del Rey Shares New Song “Let Me Love You Like a Woman”: Listen
On September 1, Lana Del Rey said she would be releasing a track called “Let Me Love You Like a Woman.” Now, the song has arrived as promised. Hear Lana’s new single below.
“Let Me Love You Like a Woman” is the first song from Lana Del Rey’s next album Chemtrails Over the Country Club. At one point, Lana said the record would come out on September 5. The release date is currently unknown. In August, Lana teased another piece of new music when she released a snippet of a song titled “Tulsa Jesus Freak” on Instagram. The post tagged her frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff, who worked with Lana on her fifth studio album Norman Fucking Rockwell!.
In July, Lana released the audiobook version of her new poetry collection Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass, which features narration by Lana and music by Antonoff.
“Let Me Love You Like a Woman” marks Lana’s first new piece of music since she issued Norman Fucking Rockwell! back in 2018. Since the release of that record, Lana has teamed up with Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande for their Charlie’s Angels song “Don’t Call Me Angel,” shared covers of Joni Mitchell’s “For Free,” Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice” (alongside Joan Baez), Death Cab for Cutie, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” (with Kacey Musgraves), and more.
At the beginning of the year, Lana had to cancel a scheduled tour of Europe due to illness. More recently, she’s contributed to a new version of singer-songwriter Matt Maeson’s 2018 hit single “Hallucinogenics” (the two performed the song live together at a 2019 concert in Oklahoma City). In August, the Weeknd shared a new remix of “Money Power Glory,” a song from Lana’s 2014 album Ultraviolence.
