Wynter had another outstanding season for the Dragons. The junior from Hempstead, N.Y., finished second in the CAA in assists per game this season at 5.5. Wynter averaged 17.6 points, which was fifth in the league, was second in the league in field-goal percentage, shot .406 from behind the 3-point stripe and .843 from the free-throw line. He has moved into fifth place on Drexel's career assist list and is tied for 12th all-time in career steals. Wynter went over the 1,000 career-point mark earlier in the year. He was a Second Team All-CAA pick a year ago.
Butler was selected to the Third Team for the second straight season. The graduate student led the CAA in field-goal percentage, shooting .577 from the floor. He was also third in the league with 9.1 rebounds per game and finished ninth in free-throw percentage. The Fairfax Station, Va. native averaged 13.4 points per contest and had five double-doubles. He now has 31 double-doubles in his career at Drexel and is 10th on the school's career rebounding list with 793.
The Dragons open play in the CAA Championships on Sunday night in Harrisonburg, Va. Drexel will face the College of Charleston at 9:30 p.m.
