NORMAN – In addition to a trio of individual championships, six members of the NCAA National Runner-Up women's gymnastics team combined for 15 All-America honors at the 2021 NCAA Championship.
Championship All-Americans are based on individual finishes in Friday's semifinal sessions, with first-team honors going to gymnasts who finish in the top four of their semifinal, and second team recognition going to those who finish in the second four. The Sooners led all programs with 15 honors in 2021.
Anastasia Webb and Olivia Trautman each tallied five All-America honors as they took home recognition on all four events and the all-around. This marked the first time in program history that two OU gymnasts earned five honors in the same season. The duo join former Sooners Maggie Nichols, Chayse Capps, and Kelly Garrison as the only gymnasts to claim all five honors in one season.
Webb was a first-team selection across the board as she brought home three individual titles (vault, floor, all-around), placed third on beam and seventh on bars. The senior brought her career total to 20 All-America honors (eight NCAA honors, 12 regular season honors). Webb's 20 All-America honors rank second all-time in OU history.
Trautman garnered first team All-America honors in the all-around and second-team honors on vault, bars, beam and floor. The junior finished in fifth place in the all-around and earned top 10 finishes on vault, bars and beam. Trautman now has eight career All-America honors (six NCAA, two regular season).
Freshman Audrey Davis earned a pair of All-America honors in her first season with the Sooners. Davis claimed second-team honors on vault and beam. Davis was also recognized as a regular-season All-American on bars.
Senior Evy Schoepfer claimed her first career Championship All-America nod with second-team honors on floor as she finished in a tie for seventh place. The senior was recognized as a regular-season All-American on vault after finishing the regular season ranked No. 1 in the nation on the event.
Junior Allie Stern also claimed her first Championship All-America honor with a second-team nod on vault. This is the second career honor for Stern who was a regular-season All-American on vault in 2020.
At her first NCAA Championship, sophomore Ragan Smith earned first-team honors on beam as she tied for third place on the event. Smith was recognized as a regular season All-American on bars and beam in 2020 to bring her career total to three honors.
