The trio continue what has been an award-laden offseason. Hana Davis (First Team) is the reigning America East Midfielder of the Year and a NFHCA Division I Senior Team selection, along with First Team All-Conference honors in the America East alongside Chloe Walton (First Team selection), and Brittany Smith (Second Team selection) was also honored as a Second Team selection.
The three continue Maine's tradition of being recognized by the NFHCA, as last year saw two Bears honored by the Association with this particular honor. Maine has had at least one selection to the All-Region lists every single season dating back to the inception of the award in 2001.
All three players will be returning for the Fall 2021 season in Orono.
The NFHCA Division I All-Region team announcement is the first in a list of postseason awards to come from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) over the next several weeks. Next to be announced are the NFHCA Regional Players of the Year on June 7 — they will be followed by the NFHCA All-American teams and the NFHCA National Player of the Year which will be revealed during the live NFHCA Awards Show sponsored by AstroTurf® on June 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
