AAFM: Governor lifts all State COVID-19 restrictions - Vermont Biz

Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets It's hard to capture the pride and gratitude we feel knowing that Vermont is the first state in the country where 80% of the eligible population has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. We know that the pandemic is far from behind us, and that people throughout the world are still suffering from it's devastating effects, but it feels good to be able to celebrate this collective achievement that has once again established Vermont as a national leader.

Having now reached the 80% vaccination target, Governor Scott, as promised, has lifted all state COVID-19 restrictions. For businesses, including all food, farm and forestry businesses, that means they are now able to operate free from things like mask requirements and capacity limits. However, as Governor Scott made clear, businesses retain the right to implement their own policies as they see fit. This includes requiring customers and/or employees to wear masks or maintain social distancing. Vermonters should also be aware that federal guidelines are still in place for public transportation and long-term care facilities

Thank you to all those that helped us reach this important milestone.
