A native of Chandler, Ariz., Schwab put together a tremendous senior season on the links for the Hawks. He led the team with a 73.00 stroke average over 12 rounds, shaving 1.36 points off of his previous career-best mark of 74.36, set in 2018-19.
Leading Hartford at four events — including a first-place showing at the Hartford/Blackledge Invite and a runner-up finish at the Hartford/Tumble Brook Invite — Schwab has landed four top-10 performances this spring. Most recently, he was named the Big Sky Golfer of the Week on April 22, after he tied for seventh to lead the Hawks to a runner-up finish at the Doc Gimmler.
Schwab becomes the eighth Hawk to earn All-Conference distinction from the Big Sky since Hartford joined the conference for the 2014-15 campaign. Current teammates Ryan Tomaso and Eric Evans were Honorable Mention selections in 2020 and 2019, respectively.
Schwab and the Hawks head to the Big Sky Conference Championship, which tees off from Boulder Creek Golf Club on Sunday, April 25. The tournament's top team, as well as the individual medalist, will earn the conference's automatic bids to the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
