EWING, N.J. – CoSIDA announced its Academic All-District recipients for women's soccer on Thursday. Faith Eichenour and Kelly Carolan, two recent graduates of the TCNJ women's soccer team, were both named CoSIDA First-Team Academic All-District II.

CoSIDA accepts nominations of student-athletes who carry at least a 3.3 cumulative grade point average and are significant athletic contributors. Carolan & Eichenour are two true meanings of student-athletes.

Carolan graduated with a degree in finance and a 3.60 grade point average. On the soccer field, she scored 13 goals and added three assists for 29 career points.

After her junior season, Carolan was chosen as a United Soccer Coaches All-American. Additionally, Carolan was a United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region honoree, the NJAC Midfielder of the Year, and First-Team All-NJAC.

Eichenour is another finance graduate and earned a 3.53 grade point average during her tenure at The College. On the pitch, Eichenour was an elite defender for TCNJ. In her junior season, she led one of the top defensive lines in the nation, as the Lions' ranked eighth in goals against average with a mark of 0.40.

In 2018, Eichenour earned United Soccer Coaches and D3soccer.com All-America honors. She was also a United Soccer Coaches All-Region and First Team All-NJAC recipient in 2019.

With their selections to the Academic All-District Team, Carolan and Eichenour are now eligible for Academic All-America voting. The results of that ballot will be announced from July 5-8.
 
CoSIDA began the distinguished Academic All-America program in 1952, and since then, has honored thousands of deserving student-athletes from numerous sports across all divisions.
 
Currently, CoSIDA sponsors Academic All-America programs for men's soccer, women's soccer, football, volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball and men's and women's track and field/cross country. Many other sports are eligible through the At-Large program.
