COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Western Colorado University's Nathan Meyer has earned a spot on the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference 2021 Football First Team Academic All-Conference (Offense) list, released Monday afternoon by the league office.
A business administration major with a 3.95 grade-point average, Meyer is a redshirt-sophomore wide receiver/tight end for the Mountaineers. He has played in all nine games and accumulated four receptions for a total of 60 yards, while also recording three tackles on special teams.
Meyer played in all 11 games during his redshirt-freshman campaign, and earned Academic All-RMAC Honor Roll honors in the postseason.
The 8-1 Mountaineers were ranked 20th nationally on the October 25 AFCA poll, and added a 23-9 victory over No. 22 Colorado Mesa University to their resume on Oct. 30, stretching a win streak to four games. At 7-1 in league play, Western tops the RMAC standings.
